Fabrizio Tani: Biography of a Young Artist

We learn from our predecessors.

Fabrizio Tani was born in 1965 in Vico d'Elsa - a charming small town near Florence, Italy. He was trained in painting in the Institute of Arts in Siena and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence for four years, where he graduated in 1987 with a degree in Painting.

Fabrizio is a fervent follower, in both painting and sculpting, of the Renaissance style. As a sculptor under Armani's tutelage, he is most attracted to sculpting figurines "in motion" because using this characteristic of the "Armani Style" allows Fabrizio to express a fluidity of form and dimension.

Since Fabrizio Tani joined the Florence Studio in 1989, he has become an important member of their sculpting team. Fabrizio has been the featured sculptor at Giuseppe Armani/Florence Sculture d'Arte events throughout the U.S.A. He recently completed his 50th sculpting event. And, at each and every event Fabrizio Tani was an outstanding success. Fabrizio sculpts in clay, an original work of art, in his own interpretation of the "Giuseppe Armani Style".

He has developed a substantial following as an artist. Collectors who met Fabrizio at previous events traveled to his spring 2000 events to see him again.

Many of the Dealers, who have hosted Fabrizio's events, have auctioned off the completed sculptures for charities of their choice. Ashley Avery's Collectables of Willow Grove, PA, auctioned an original sculpture with the highest bid of $2,200. The $2,200 was subsequently donated to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Fabrizio Tani's talent is lauded by all who attend his events.
